Omnis require a reflector light fitting to direct illumination downwards. I'm surprised that High Powered Solar Flood Lights for Sale you could get away with just the one RGB bulb in an 'oyster'? I understand that an RGB bulb outputs lower levels of light (I haven't personally checked this); but certainly I found the white lighting of a poor quality – inferior to my 'white' bulbs. However, my RGB bulb remote doesn't have the 4 channels of operation my white bulb remote has. The latter 4 channels being able to control multiple bulbs on each channel – specifying up to 50 [or more] bulbs for each channel. My experience has been limited to just the one bulb on each of the four channels – a standard lamp for reading [during TV ads], with separate central background TV room lighting ..
Another concern, which others have expressed, is that with a forward (essentially all frontal, ie 180d) output bulb laid on its side, illumination would largely be in the direction of the wall to which the bulb is pointing. From memory this involved switching the light off at the switch, switch it back on and and with in a few seconds, click on the power button on your app. However, to reiterate, this Downlight LAMP is better without a superseded light fitting – these belong in the past IMHO.
