Standard image tools accept files up to 32 MB and 40 megapixels. HEIC and OCR are limited to 20 MB. A current browser is recommended; review the output before replacing your original file.
A practical example
Choose a clear image of printed English text. Straight, high-contrast text gives better results than a tilted, blurred or decorative font. Review the extracted text and copy or download it as plain text.
Does this OCR tool recognize every language or handwriting?
This release loads the English recognition model. Other languages and handwriting are not reliably supported. OCR can confuse letters and numbers, so verify names, amounts and important details against the source.
What happens to my input?
Files and text are processed on your device. Tool usage can be counted under the site’s existing analytics settings, but this tool does not send your file, text, filename or generated content to analytics.
