Why can this preview differ from Facebook or other social platforms?

Each platform has its own cache, crawler and rendering rules. This tool reads server-delivered HTML and does not execute the remote page’s JavaScript. Metadata behind a login or added only by scripts may be unavailable.

What happens to my input?

The URL is sent to r37dy to retrieve the public page. We do not accept private account credentials. Remote sites can restrict requests or change their metadata.
