How to use Subtitle timing shifter
Paste SRT or WebVTT and enter a positive or negative offset in seconds. Cues shifted entirely before zero are removed.
A practical example
If captions appear two seconds too early, enter 2. If they appear two seconds late, enter -2. The offset moves every cue together and leaves the text unchanged.
What happens when a negative offset moves subtitles before zero?
Cues ending at or before zero are removed. A cue crossing zero starts at zero. This tool applies one constant offset; it does not repair captions that gradually drift out of sync.
What happens to my input?
Files and text are processed on your device. Tool usage can be counted under the site’s existing analytics settings, but this tool does not send your file, text, filename or generated content to analytics.
