Video compressor

Reduce a video file size with adjustable quality.

Your files and text stay in your browser. Processors may download on first use.

How to use Video compressor

Choose an MP4, MOV or WebM file and select a quality level. Higher compression trades image detail for smaller files.

Work with a short clip: up to 100 MB and 120 seconds. Video editing loads a roughly 31 MB processor on first use. Large files can take several minutes on a phone. Keep this tab open until the download is ready.

A practical example

Choose Balanced for a first export, then compare the downloaded file with your original. Strong compression trades detail for a smaller file; fine text and fast motion are useful places to check the result.

Why is my compressed video larger?

A file that is already efficiently encoded may grow when re-encoded. This browser tool exports H.264 MP4 and reports when the result is not smaller. Keep the original if it looks better or takes less space.
