Text difference checker
Compare two texts and see added and removed lines.
How to use Text difference checker
Paste the original and revised text. The comparison is line-based and preserves whitespace; unchanged lines provide context.
A practical example
Paste the original text and a revised version to compare them line by line. A plus sign marks an added line, a minus sign marks a removed line, and unchanged lines have a space prefix.
Does the text comparison show individual changed words?
It reports line-level differences. A changed word can therefore appear as one removed line and one added line. It does not compare document formatting; copy plain text from your editor before using it.
