Video frame extractor
Save a frame from your video as a PNG image.
How to use Video frame extractor
Choose your video and enter a time in seconds. Use the exported image as a thumbnail or a starting point for a cover.
Work with a short clip: up to 100 MB and 120 seconds. Video editing loads a roughly 31 MB processor on first use. Large files can take several minutes on a phone. Keep this tab open until the download is ready.
A practical example
Choose the time of a clear frame, such as 1.5 seconds, and export it as a PNG. This is useful for thumbnail drafts, cover images and checking a moment without taking a screenshot of the video player.
What resolution is the exported video frame?
The PNG uses the decoded video frame dimensions. It does not enlarge the source or remove motion blur. Choose another timestamp if the subject is moving or the frame is not sharp.
