Help customers open the right WhatsApp conversation with a clear business number and a useful optional message.
A customer wants to ask whether a workshop has places available. A WhatsApp enquiry link can open the intended conversation without asking them to copy a number first. A short suggested message gives the enquiry context, while the customer remains in control of sending it.
Use the number customers should actually contact
Choose an active business contact number that you are willing to publish. Enter it in international format as digits, including the country code. Check the result carefully: a plausible-looking number can still be the wrong recipient.
Keep the suggested message short, such as “Hello, I would like to ask about the Saturday pottery workshop.” Do not insert private information or assume the visitor has agreed to a booking.
Generate and test the destination
- Open the WhatsApp link generator.
- Enter the public contact number and optional starting message.
- Move out of the fields so the result updates.
- Copy the generated URL.
- Open it on a device with WhatsApp and verify the recipient and text before sending anything.
Opening the link is not the same as sending a message. The experience can differ between a phone with the app and a desktop using a web session.
Set expectations beside the button
Label the link “Ask about workshop places on WhatsApp” rather than simply “Contact.” If you publish response hours, make sure they reflect how the number is monitored. Keep another contact route available for people who do not use WhatsApp.
A link does not provide a shared inbox, automatic reply service or customer-management system. Those are separate operational decisions.
Try the generator, then create a r37dy account if you want to place the result on a bio page alongside your other contact options.
